Women's Life Center

The Women's Life Center at the UCLA Semel Institute and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital offers a supportive and effective approach to mental health treatment during the special phases of a woman's life:

• Post-partum
• Lactation
• Menstrual phases
• Menopause
• Gynecological procedures
• Pregnancy
• Infertility

Services and Treatment

The Center offers individual consultation, group therapy, short-term individual therapy and medication management. These services are provided by the Center's skilled interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers who are supervised by faculty with special expertise in women's mental health. In order to provide comprehensive health care, the Center's staff works closely with referring clinicians from a number of other medical specialties.
