
Joint Seminars in Neuroscience - the weekly Joint Seminars series is presented in collaboration by the Brain Research Institute and the Neuropsychiatric Institute, as well as the Interdepartmental Programs for Neuroscience, the Mental Retardation Research Center, and the Departments of Anesthesiology, Neurobiology, Neurology, Opthamology, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Physiological Science, Physiology, Psychiatry & Biobehavioral Sciences, Psychology, and Surgery/Neurosurgery. Cutting-edge developments in the neurosciences are presented weekly.
Conferences - The Annual Review of Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology Update is a two-day intensive conference that provides comprehensive presentations and small-group discussions on the state-of-the-art in mental health. The Neuropsychiatry Today Conference is a series of half-day workshops, where expert faculty will review advances in clinical neuroscience that have yielded insights into causes of neuropsychiatric disorders. Online Programs - Since 2000, the OPCE began developing online courses for those not able to attend live events. These have grown into several different areas including psychosis and bipolar disorder, as well as individual case conferences.
